SUMMARY:Public Community Branding Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Local residents have the opportunity to voice their opinions and help city leaders develop a new community brand for Emmetsburg. \nThe public is invited to attend a public community branding workshop on Monday\, January 10 at 5:00 PM at The Shores at Five Island. This will be interactive\, and community members are encouraged to attend and provide input. \nThe City of Emmetsburg has hired Arnett Muldrow & Associates (AMA) to develop a brand system that provides the community with a fresh marketing image that can be deployed by the city and its partners to reinforce community pride\, recruit investment to the community\, and position Emmetsburg as a special place. AMA will develop a marketing initiative around the brand that is easy to implement\, builds off existing colors and community identity\, and can be deployed immediately. \n  \n  \nArnett Muldrow & Associates will be in Emmetsburg for a marketing and branding resource visit January 10th-12th. The visit will include a series of round table meetings with various stakeholder groups as well as a public Community Branding Workshop at The Shores at Five Island at 5:00 PM on Monday\, January 10th. We want to collect your ideas on the character and identity of the community. Input collected through the workshop as well as an online survey will be used to develop a cohesive marketing strategy that will look to leverage the unique assets of the community and position Emmetsburg as a special place. This will be used to promote businesses and activities\, recruit new investment\, and contribute to the sense of pride that residents have for their home town.
