DESCRIPTION:The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce invites you to view the entries in their 3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest and to vote for your favorite entry.  Pictures of each entry will also be on the Chamber’s Facebook page: Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce.  Voting may be done in person at the Chamber office\, 1121 Broadway\, or online at www.tinyurl.com/2023scarecrowvote.  The business or homeowner of the winning Scarecrow entry in each category will receive $150 in Chamber bucks.  For more information\, call the Chamber office at 712-852-2283. Last day for voting is Thursday\, October 5 and winners will be announced Friday\, Oct 6.

This production is a mix of a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel\, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps\, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre!  The play is packed with nonstop laughs\, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four)\, and onstage plane crash\, handcuffs\, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!  General admission tickets are $10 and available for purchase by visiting the box office one hour prior to curtain.  Concessions available for a free-will donation.
