On Tuesday May 31, the Emmetsburg Municipal Band will begin practices and concerts for the summer season. Practice is at EHS Band room on Tuesdays and the Concerts are on the following Thursday at Soper Park. Starting times for both practice and concerts is 7 pm.

The Farmer’s Market is open for the season! Produce is available on 10th Street north of the Courthouse Square in Emmetsburg. Hours for the farmer’s market are Thursdays from noon to 5:00pm and on Saturday mornings from 8:00A to Noon.
Minute to Win It: Come compete against your friends in these minute long challenges. The overall winner for the day will receive a special prize. Participants will receive points towards their Summer Reading goals. For ages 8 and up.
Tea-Time Cinema at the Emmetsburg Public Library is held every Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM. Each week a different classic movie is shown at the library (each week in December is a holiday-themed movie) where tea is served. Free and open to all.
