Goals:
- To provide work and residential opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Group Homes: Licensed RCF/MR residences for person who are employed at the workshop or in Supported Employment. The residents take care of their own cooking, cleaning, laundry, banking, shopping, and personal needs with assistance as needed from a staff person.
Supported Community Living Service: A service provided to support individuals with mental retardation in living as independently as possible in their community. The service is individualized and focuses on each consumer’s need regarding basic skill development.
Supported Employment: A program for consumers to gain experience and skills working at a variety of community basked jobs.
Kathleen’s Care, Inc. is a licensed 33-bed Residential Care Facility/Intensive Residential Treatment Facility. It also has a 16-bed Intermittent Care Facility for adults with mental retardation. Kathleen’s Care mission is to help assist their clients with daily living skills and to help the client become as independent as possible.
With the assistance of case management services as well as the consumer, Kathleen’s Care works as a team to help the individual attain the goals and objectives that they have set for themselves.
A number of services are offered at Kathleen’s Care, including family involvement, psychological, speech therapy, active treatment, activity department, vocational and social services. Kathleen’s offers fun activities and outings for everyone.
