Come to the library for a weekly toddler playdate. We will have toys set out for kids to play with while parents and caregivers get a chance to socialize. This is not a librarian run program, but it is a time for caregivers and kids to enjoy some scheduled playtime in the library.
Church Women United World Community Day 2023 will be held at the Methodist Family Life Center in Emmetsburg. Theme for 2023 is Living a Legacy of Love: Doing God’s Work. 2023 Craft & Vendor Expo held at The Shores at Five Island (formerly the Holiday Expo at the VFW). Admission is free and the Dockside Lounge at The Shores will have food and drink special throughout the day.
International Games Month continues at the library during this regular, twice-monthly board game program. The Stonemaier Games theme continues with another of their offerings, Tapestry, a game where you can lead a unique civilization to greatness through cultural and technological advances. Ages 12 and up. Light refreshments will be provided.
Emmetsburg Knights of Columbus #936 Annual Harvest Dinner serving Turkey with all the Fixin’s, Pie and Beverage at the Holy Family Parish Center. Adult Ticket/Donation is $12 and 6-12 years $5, and children 5 years and under are free.
The Wellness Center is joining the fun along with the libraries for International Games Month! This week, a Pickleball tournament will run all week. Be sure to inquire at the desk about being paired up with an opponent and other tournament information. This event is open to the public free of charge.
