Emmetsburg Public Library Parent-Child Pokémon Training Camp: Did you know the Pokémon trading card game is a fun activity that dads and moms can play with their children? Players both beginner and advanced can come learn how to play the popular trading card game. There is math involved in every turn, being able to read and understand the text on the cards is very important, and learning about fair play are all good aspects of the game. Whether you want to play the game with your child or be able to referee games between siblings and friends, here is your chance to learn it all. Prizes and cards will be provided to players. Snacks will be available. Please sign up in advance (must be parent-child pairs). Ages 8 & up.
