Emmetsburg City Hall and Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities will be closed today, March 5, due to the winter storm.
Today’s garbage route will be picked up tomorrow, March 6.
For gas, water or sewer emergencies, please call EMU on-call personnel at 712-480-2552.
If you don’t need to travel, please stay home. If you must travel, take caution of icy and snowy road conditions. Please drive with care and choose routes accordingly. When possible, choose roads that have less traffic and don’t involve hills, and watch out for plows. City, county, and state trucks concentrate on heavily traveled roads and emergency routes.
