The City of Emmetsburg and Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day. There will be changes to both the solid waste and recycling schedules.
The Thursday, July 4 garbage route will be picked up on Friday, July 5.
The first Thursday (July 4) recycling route on the south side of Highway 18 will be picked up a day early on Wednesday, July 3rd.
