The City of Emmetsburg & Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st in observance of the New Year. Wednesday’s solid waste collection will be picked up on Thursday, January 2nd. Recycling for the north side of Emmetsburg that would normally be picked up on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 will be picked up on Monday, December 30, 2019.
