Palo Alto County will be starting the North Huron Road overlay on August 20, 2025. The detour route and road closure signs were put up on Friday, August 15th. During this construction, the road will be closed to through traffic. This will put a slight inconvenience on residents. Palo Alto County asks for residents to be mindful of the workers and equipment at this time and to please be patient. This project will be 6″ of crushed concrete base, then 7″ of asphalt placed on top of that.
