Emmetsburg City Code 169.12 prohibits parking or storing recreational vehicles – including campers, RVs, and boats – within the required setback for longer than seven days.
“Recreational vehicles shall not be parked or stored within any required setback for longer than seven consecutive days. Beyond the seven day period, any recreational vehicle stored on any property in the City that is not within an enclosed structure shall be stored entirely within the rear yard of said property. Recreational vehicles shall not be used for human occupancy in any district.”
