The City of Emmetsburg will not be placing restrictions on Halloween trick-or-treating. The official Emmetsburg Trick-or-Treat time will be from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Saturday, October 31st. If you would like to receive trick-or-treaters, please turn your porch light on.
For those that wish to participate, we recommend you take precautions to protect the health of your family and the community:
- Practice good hand hygiene and carry/offer hand sanitizer
- Social distance
- Wear a mask or face covering
- Keep groups small and limited to family members or close friends
- Only go to homes of people you know
- If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have potentially been exposed, stay home
